The Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday released the fourth list of 18 candidates for the Punjab Assembly elections polls due next year. AAP state conver Gurpreet Singh Waraich and chairman MP Bhagwant Maan said that the party has selected honest and hard working candidates however, the fact he very conviently forgot to mention was the deep pockets these selected candidates persists.
Arshad Dali a TV actor, who has worked in many Punjabi movies. He was also Malerkotla municipal councillor between 1998 to 2003, sbrother of Congress MLA Razia Sultana and brother-in-law of Muhammad Mustafa, DGP (Punjab State Human Rights Commission) who is considered close to Punjab Congress president Captain Amarinder Singh. With an prior affiliation with almost all the contesting parties, from being a part of congress till 2002 to SAD in 2007, the said actor has been making noise in politics for way too long. Considering his connection and tenure in poltics Dali is considered as a candidate with huge money bags.
It seems like AAP had an adgenda with brining in learned faces from legal, teaching and corporate backgrounds. In the high-profile Moga, a constituency that has favoured a Hindu MLA in the past, AAP has picked Ramesh Grover, a senior lawyer and ex-president of Moga district bar council.

In Budhalada, an academician Budhram alias Principal has been announced as the candidate. In Raikot, an area which has often courted controversy over presence of illegal narcotic trade has got an anti-drug crusader Jagtar Singh Jagga Hissowal as the candidate.
With the next addition being Jasvir Singh Gill, AAP candidate from Urmur, is a rich transporter from the region. Formerly an NRI, he was once a close aide of Congress MLA Sangat Giljian.
