Paramjit Singh Sarna as a President of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee issued strict instructions to all the ‘Kathawachaks’ in Delhi not to mention the episode of 1984 anti-Sikh genocide. This was followed by him honouring Sajjan Kumar by offering him a ‘siropa’ and then finally helping his brother in the elections.
Connecting the dots, it makes it crystal clear that Sarna is part of Congress. But, what is ironical is that being a Sikh, he not shielded perpetrator of anti-Sikh genocide but openly supported them.
Be it operation Blue Star or 1984 riots, Congress’ anti-Sikh stance is well known. This also raises the crucial question here – is he congress implant deliberately used by the party to crush the justice process by 1984?
Making publicly evident his political aspiration, Sarna not only allowed, but also honoured several Congress leaders at a function held at the Lakhi Shah Vanjara Hall at the historical Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib. The function was held to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Ramesh Chandra, editor of Hind Samachar, who was branded as Martyr.
Lala Jagat Narayan was the founder of HIind Samachar group who was anti Sikh and raised slogans during Punjab Suba movement that “Ura iri padhan nahin deni Sir te pagg rahan nahin deni’and “Kach, Kadaa te Kirpan Ehna nu bhejo Pakistan.”
