The careless AAP supremo and Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal had kept aside a budget of Rs 526 crore for his self-promotion but the AAP government has stopped the social welfare pension of senior citizens. The beneficiaries of the social welfare pension felt cheated by the ruling AAP who had promised them to give a good raise in pension. They are repenting on their decision for electing the AAP regime in Delhi.
Senior Citizens up in arms against AAP government
The senior citizens who are beneficiaries of the social welfare pension had accused Kejriwal government for not giving their pensions. A protest was also held by the senior citizens in Tilak Nagar last week.
The senior citizens, widows and differently-abled beneficiaries of the pension scheme protested against the AAP ruling regime.
Some senior citizens claimed to be beneficiaries of the Delhi government’s Social Welfare Department’s scheme, while others were getting their pensions from the local civic bodies.
However, the common complaint was that the pensions were not being disbursed on time.
One of the beneficiaries, 87-year-old Ram Rakhi, said though she had been living in the same Tilak Nagar residence for years, her pension was abruptly stopped.

The senior citizens in the national capital have accused the AAP government for harassing them by not giving their pensions on time. The pensions are being delayed by AAP government. The senior citizens are crying for their pensions and the Chief Minister of Delhi is engaged in self-publicity. The taxpayer’s money is being spent on the publicity of Kejriwal who had kept aside a huge budget of Rs 526 crore for information and advertisement. The people feel that Kejriwal has brought back the situation of France. In nineteenth century, when France was witnessing economy crisis, the queen was spending money on her personal luxuries. People had approached the queen that they don’t have food, what should they eat? The queens had replied that if they don’t have food then eat cake.
