Another Plea Over Office Of Profit, Ec Issued Notice To 27 AAP MLA’s

On Wednesday, landing AAP MLA’s in trouble once again, the election commission has issued a show cause notice to 27 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA’s seeking disqualification from holdings of office to profit.

The notice has been issued in response to the new petition filled, seeking the cancelation of membership of 27 legislators of delhi assembly over the office of profit issue. The petition filed in June, and forwarded to the Commission by Rashtrapati Bhawan last month. Further on, the MLA’s have been asked to file their response by November 11th

The commission also said that it would commence final arguments from November 15. The petitioner has claimed that these MLAs hold posts of chairpersons of Rogi Kalyan Samitis (RKSs) of different government hospitals in Delhi without any sanctity of law.

The list also includes Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel, his deputy Rakhi Birla, former deputy speaker Bandana Kumari and estranged AAP MLA and Swaraj Abhiyan leader Pankaj Pushkar.

On September 8, the high court set aside the appointment of 21 party MLAs as parliamentary secretaries. The court had said the order to appoint them as parliamentary secretaries was given without the concurrence of the Lt Governor.

AAP says since the decision to appoint the 21 MLAs as parliamentary secretaries has been set aside, they could not be disqualified for holding the office which they no longer enjoy.

But the petitioner says the court order will have no bearing on the case being heard by EC.

AAP played politics dirty politics again in Delhi

sisodia

Whenever something happens in the country, the Aam Aadmi Party always comes first to take the political mileage. The Deputy of the Delhi Chief Minister has come out with the latest trick to get the publicity.

A former OROP soldier committed suicide in Delhi and the Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia tried to play politics with the death of the victim in the hospital.

Manish Sisodia went to Delhi’s Ram Manohar Lohia hospital to meet the kin of the soldier and he tried to play politics over there by addressing the gathering. In the meantime, the Delhi police cops detained him and later released.

According to the police, the Deputy Chief Minister tried to obstruct the work of the hospital and was making the speeches in the premises of the hospital. The police officials told that the leaders should understand they can’t do politics in the premises of the hospital.

Subedar Ram Kishen Grewal allegedly poisoned himself on the lawns of a government building in Delhi. The foolish AAP leaders always commit such blunders to get the publicity.

Sisodia was playing politics to grab the attention of the public and how to mean he is that he didn’t think once to give a political speech in the premises of the hospital where the victim breathed his last.

It is not the first such incident when AAP leaders performed a cheap stunt to gain political mileage. The family of the victim was crying and the Deputy Chief Minister instead of maintaining silence started talking about the Delhi’s government achievements.

More Trouble For AAP, 27 MLAs Lands In Office For Profit After President Orders EC To Probe

Even as the uncertainty prevails on 21 MLA’s of Aam Aadmi Party, still awaiting for their fate to be decided in an ongoing  ‘Office of Profit’ controversy, another set of 27 party MLAs are involved in another Office of Profit row.

A Delhi-based law student, Vibhor Anand, had filed this complaint, alleging that these 27 MLAs hold posts of Chairpersons of Rogi Kalyan Samitis in different government hospitals in Delhi without any legal sanctity. Further demanding the termination of the said MLA’s from their positions. Anand had lodged this complaint directly with the EC in June, following which the Commission had said that it should be made to the President who, in turn, will send it to the Commission. EC has now sent the complaint to the President.

“The Delhi government in 2009 through its executive/ standing orders approved constituting Rogi Kalyan Samitis in all the hospitals with governing body under the chairmanship of local MLA in violating the mandate of scheme.

“The order of appointing MLAs either by the present government or by the earlier government, as chairperson of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti is wholly illegal and void, without any legal sanctity,” Anand said.

Following which the president has probed the Election Commision with a fresh petition against 27 MLAs for allegedly holding office of profit, and further will now be examined by poll panel.

Earlier, a similar petition filed in office to profit row in June, had sought cancellation of 27 AAP MLAs membership.

However, this time around too, the list already includes seven legislators against whom the EC had already considered a plea for holding the office of parliamentary secretaries, indicating a threat of disqualification for the rest 17 MLAs.

In the complaint forwarded to President Pranab Mukherjee, following were the MLAs whose names were mentioned: Mohinder Goyal, Surendra Singh, Anil Kumar Bajpai, Mohammed Ishraq Khan, Rakhi Birla, Madan Lal, Sharad Kumar, Hazari Lal Chauhan, Kailash Gehlot, Rajendra pal Gautam, Pankaj Pushkar, Somnath Bharti, Ved Prakash, Nitin Tyagi, Naresh Yadav, Jarnail Singh, Alka Lamba, Ram Niwas Goel, Vishesh Ravi, Rajesh Gupta, SK Bagga, Shiv Charan Goel and Bandana Kumari.

Upon following the similar course of action, if these MLAs get disqualified, the AAP government in Delhi would cease to exist.

Delhi Waqf Board irregularities; Amanatullah uses religion to shield himself

amanatullah-khan

The AAP legislator Amanatullah Khan has played dirty politics when he is exposed in front of the public for the ‘irregularities’ in ‘Delhi Waqf Board’. When the AAP legislator from Okhla found himself in trouble, he said that he is being targeted because he is a Muslim.

In fact, Khan had appointed his relatives and friends in the Delhi Waqf Board and when the matter unearthed, he has come out with the Muslim card to protect himself.

Lt Governor Najeeb Jung has dissolved the Delhi Waqf Board constituted by the Kejriwal government and the matter referred to the CBI related to “irregularities” in the board.

Jung declared the reconstitution of the board, quashing all appointments made by its incumbent Chairman. A committee has formed to review the legality and propriety of all decisions and action taken by the Board after its constitution in March 2016 and directed to submit the report within a month.

The matter had come into the limelight when the two members of the board had resigned and revealed about the ‘corruption’ along with the irregularities in the appointments.

As per the information, the appointment of the CEO of the board, Mehboob Alam was made without obtaining the approval of the competent authority.

Khan was unanimously elected as the new chairman of the reconstituted Board by its members in March this year.

The Board faced charges of corruption in appointments made under the tenure of Khan, and the ACB launched a probe into the alleged “recruitment scam” on a complaint of one Mohammad Mustafa in September.

However, Khan has been deliberately diverted the issue by playing the tactic that he is Muslim and that’s why he is being targeted. Khan is enjoying a good reputation as he is facing a number of criminal cases. The anti-terrorist wing of Delhi police has been monitoring him since a long time.

Little knowledge is a dangerous thing, Sanjay Singh proved

sanjay-singh

The old saying rightly fits on the AAP Punjab in-charge and senior leader Sanjay Singh who has misinterpreted the statement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi three years ago.

Sanjay Singh who can’t speak and understand the English language has moulded the old statement of Modi in his tweet. At that time Modi had fired a salvo on UPA government regarding the relations between India and Pakistan.

The people have been making a mockery of Sanjay Singh who didn’t understand the statement of Modi and tweeted a message asking Modi about his statement.

It is a self-goal made by Singh and hence it is proved that the AAP leaders are not seriously doing politics. Politics is a platform to serve the people, but the AAP-led Delhi government has done nothing to the public.

Whenever something happens in the country, the AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal immediately gives his statements on social media. After the surgical strikes in PoK by Indian Army, the Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal had raised questions over the truth of the surgical strikes.

However, the evidence given by the Indian Army has shut the mouth of Delhi CM. Sanjay Singh has been following his boss and immediately reacted on Twitter. The reaction of Singh drew flak as he has wrongly mentioned the old statement of Modi.

The ugly face of the AAP leaders has exposed in front of the public. When the entire nation has been struggling hard against the anti-terrorist forces, the AAP leaders are firing salvos at the centre government. The AAP leadership should forget the politics of such situation and instead of blame game; the party should support the centre government.

Tihar Jail, the most preferred destination of AAP lawmakers

tihar
When Arvind Kejriwal formed the AAP party, he promised the Delhi people to present a clean image and corruption free political model in Indian politics. He had promised that the party would only induct clean image people and there would be ‘zero tolerance’ against corruption in the party.

The people of Delhi trusted the new party twice and in 2015, the party successfully won the assembly elections with a landslide victory. After taking the reins of Delhi, the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal and his party changed the colours like a chameleon.

The AAP-led government in Delhi has broken all the records and promises made to the people of Delhi. The party has set an absurd example of giving a maximum number of legislators facing criminal cases. In the history of Delhi, this is happening first time when the lawmakers turned into lawbreakers.

Twelve MLAs of the party made a tour of Tihar Jail, and 21 legislators may face disqualification because of their irregular appointments as Parliamentary Secretaries. In fact, the idea of launching the AAP party was a full proof plan to dupe the people of Delhi. An Association of Democratic Reforms while analysing the election affidavits of AAP had revealed that 27 out of 67 legislators had criminal cases against them.

Arvind Kejriwal always tried to defend his party’s legislators. He had tried to defend Jitender Singh Tomar when the police found his law degree ‘fake’. Tomar was not expelled from the party, and he is still in the party fold. Moreover, Somnath Bharti was not expelled who was arrested in the case of domestic violence.

The police have sufficient evidence against the AAP legislators and leaders. The police arrested the legislators after the proper investigations. However, Arvind Kejriwal always blames the BJP’s involvement in sending his legislators in Jail.

Next Delhi assembly session to be held in Tihar Jail

tihar

A day after the arrest of AAP legislator, Amanatullah Khan, the Delhi Police has arrested another legislator Somnath Bharti in a case of damaging the public property. Bharti is arrested for assaulting the security guards of AIIMS. It seems the next Delhi assembly session would be held in Tihar Jail as day by day the Delhi police have been arresting the AAP MLA’s in criminal cases.

As per the information, the Chief Security Office of AIIMS had lodged a complaint against the MLA in the second week of September that Bharti along with his supporters misbehaved with the security guards at the entrance of AIIMS. And he also instigated his goons to damage the fence of government property.

He also gave permission to his goons with JCB machines to enter the premises of AIMMS from Gautam Nagar nullah road side and also beaten up the security persons deployed in AIIMS. Delhi police finally arrested him on Thursday. The legislator has been facing the case of domestic violence registered by his wife and this is the second case against him.

One by one the AAP legislators have been indulging in criminal activities and facing the arrests. The number of the legislators arrested by the police in criminal cases reached at 20. The day is not far when the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal will hold the next assembly session in Tihar Jail.

When the party founded by the AAP national head Arvind Kejriwal in 2012, the party promised to give a corruption-free and ideal model in Indian political system. However, the party diverted from its real track and topped in the country as the majority of the AAP leaders and 20 legislators are facing criminal cases.

In the regime of AAP government, the national capital has topped in the country for the highest number of criminal cases.

Delhi residents fed up with AAP, Ink attack shows their anger

sisodia

The people of Delhi trusted the Aam Aadmi Party as they thought that the party would reform the national capital but they felt cheated and as a result, another ink attack incident happened in Delhi when a person Brijesh Shukla threw ink at Sisodia.

At least, 30 deaths in Delhi have been linked to dengue and chikungunya and over 2,800 people are reportedly infected. When the disease broke out in Delhi, the entire AAP cabinet was missing in the state. Even Kejriwal had been touring to Punjab.

The Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal has gone to Bengaluru for the treatment and in his absence, Manish Sisodia officiates but the Deputy Chief Minister was touring in Finland when the Delhi people were crying for the proper health care facilities in the state.

Brijesh Shukla, a 39-year-old man hurled ink at Sisodia who was angry over Sisodia’s visit to foreign countries when the capital is grappling with an outbreak of vector-borne diseases.

The incident happened in front of the LG’s house when Sisodia was briefing the media about his meeting with Najeeb Jung. The accused suddenly threw ink at Sisodia during his briefing.

According to police, Shukla is the president of the Swaraj Janata Party and a social activist. He is also an old critic of AAP. Shukla told the police that he was unhappy with the minister for visiting foreign countries while Delhi is reeling under an outbreak of dengue and ‘chikungunya’.

The situation has arisen due to the ‘negligence’ and ‘non-responsible’ behaviour of AAP government in Delhi. After taking the reins of the state, the AAP party started dreaming of winning the assembly polls in other states. During the crucial situation in Delhi, the entire AAP cabinet was missing from the state. Sisodia was enjoying his political honeymoon in Finland.

Insensitive AAP minister drives away leaving security guards injured

gopal
Once again, another AAP minister Gopal Rai has come into limelight for his insensitivity as the minister left his security men left in the lurch when a vehicle of his cavalcade overturned in Chhattisgarh.

The AAP MLA and incumbent minister Gopal Rai did not show sympathy to his security guards who were injured in the accident. Five jawans were injured and one died in the accident but the Rai;s car drove away.

The jawans were escorting the AAP minister, while he was on his way to Bhanupratappur. The incident happened when Rai was moving towards Bhanupratappur after attending a press conference in Kanker.

One of the pilot car’s tyre burst out and the vehicle ran into the nearby fields and overturned. While others who were escorting the Delhi minister stopped to help the injured but the minister’s car drove away.

It was an act of selfish attitude of the minister who did not bother to enquire about the overturned vehicle during his road journey. He should have stopped at the spot but he had to attend a programme.

The AAP minister reached the hospital to meet the injured security men after attending the political programme. It means the political programme was the top priority of the minister and there is no value of a man’s life for the AAP legislator.

A security man lost his life that was in the cavalcade of the minister. But the minister has not shown his sympathy on the spot when the vehicle was overturned.

If a minister can’t bother about the lives of his security men then how come he would protect the lives of Delhi people if something happens, unfortunately?

Delhi dying and Sisodia enjoying

sisodia
When the entire national capital has been facing the ‘chikungunya’ problem and over 11 people died due to the disease, Kejriwal’s deputy Manish Sisodia enjoying the foreign junket in Finland.

A picture of the Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia having ice cream gone viral and his state is suffering from the disease. The Chief Minister of Delhi has gone to Bengaluru for the surgery and his deputy is busy in Finland.

Kejriwal has not kept any portfolio and his deputy Manish Sisodia officiates in the absence of his top boss. However, the pictures on social media depicting that the vacations at Finland are more important than the immediate return to his own country where his state has been combating with ‘chikungunya’.

When the AAP party took the reins of the national capital with a landslide victory, the best healthcare facilities in the city would be the one of the prominent agenda of the party in its manifesto.

However, it seems the party deliberately forgotten the promise and the poor health care facilities in the government hospitals led to the death of 11 people in Delhi. People are crying for the help but there is no proper support given to the government hospitals from Delhi government.

All the cabinet ministers are out of the city busy in other states for the upcoming assembly polls.

Satyendra Jain, the health minister of Delhi ignored his own state and was busy in the preparations for the upcoming assembly polls in Goa. Jain returned because of the flak he drew for his absence.

The AAP and Kejriwal are too busy campaigning in poll-bound States such as Punjab and Goa to pay attention to what is happening in the city.

As the city reels under a major health crisis, virtually the entire Delhi Cabinet is missing from action as ministers including Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Gopal Rai and Imran Hussain are not in town.

Rai is in Chhattisgarh and Hussain is on Haj pilgrimage. Only Water Minister Kapil Mishra was in Delhi when the disease broke out.
